Winter dances - dance festival in the Grand Cultural Centre
The dance company TanssiARTesaani brings the Winterdances festival to Porvoo's ninth graders. It is a mini-festival with live dance performances and dance film screenings.
This year, Winterdances celebrates love from different perspectives: feelings for partners, friends and family, passion and love for dance, acceptance of our identities and consideration for others.
TanssiARTesaai wants to reach out with contemporary dance and performing arts to a wider audience and inspire them to interact and react actively.
The artistic goal is to tell stories through artistic projects combining different media and collaborations with different artists that can touch the sensitivity of the audience.
The programme is part of the cultural path for schools in the city of Porvoo.
