With the food waste ticket, you can buy food waste, i.e. usable food from the city's schools and daycare centres. The food waste ticket is a digital product that is uploaded to Ceepo's mobile application, and the purchased ticket is shown to the staff at the pick-up point.
The use of the food waste ticket reduces food waste and promotes responsible consumption. Food waste is sold if there is food left over. Food waste may not be available every day. Food waste is often sold out after lunchtime, but the time can vary from place to place.
Purchase party: One ticket or several tickets, but a maximum of 20 tickets at a time.
Use: Mobile application (Ceepos Mobiilimaksu).
Places of use: City of Porvoo schools and daycare centres.
Validity: The food waste ticket is used when picking up food.
Value: One ticket is equivalent to a 0.5-litre food container. You can pick up the box from the kitchen. With four tickets, you can buy a whole form.
