On the extract from the cadastral index map, the property is emphasised. If a property consists of more than one parcel, all parcels are shown on the first page. On subsequent pages, each parcel is shown on its own page.  

You need an extract from the cadastral index map when you apply for a building permit outside of an area with a local detailed plan, or in an area with a detailed shore plan. You also need an extract when you apply for an action permit, demolition permit or landscape work permit.
