The extract from the cadastre contains basic information about the property such as property identifier, registration date and area. In addition, the extract contains information about the formation of the cadastral unit, master and local detailed plans, easements, rights-of-use and shares in jointly-owned areas. 

You need an extract from the cadastre when you apply for a building permit, action permit, demolition permit or landscape work permit.
